Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Adrain Gabbard (Co-Pastor of Uptown Church) preached a great message (Pastor Gary Gabbard is on vacation this week)...God always knows what we need to hear...I have had a really hard week...My husband has decided our marriage is over & he wants a divorce...I have been taking this to the Lord believing for a different out come...I know God heard my prayers...I asked so many times for God to give him a dream or send someone his way to talk to him & help him understand this is nothing but the work of the Devil...I know God has done that...His word tells us we have our own free will to listen & obey or walk the other way...he will continue to be in my prayers always...we have 3 beautiful kids together & I pray he finds his way to the Lord

This past week I have been so lost...I could not think straight...I had a short fuse w/ people...I knew it was nothing but the Devil...I kept praying & believing but I just could not get this weight off....then Adrian started preaching Sunday morning & I felt so much freedom...even though I was taking this to the Lord I was not truly giving it to him...I was not putting all my confidence in him...He can bring us though the darkest hour....Sunday morning I left it @ the alter & put all my trust & confidence in the Lord...I know he will bring us through this...I felt so much joy & peace today I can not explain it...people who have seen me today say they can see a change in me...some knew what was going on & others just knew something was not right w/ me last week...But I can honestly say God has given me a peace that passeth all understanding

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

I just receive news my sister-in-law is having problems w/ her pregnancy...We are believing God is going to give them a great miracle...I believe I will be adding to this post w/ a Praise Report.

We serve a miracle worker...By his stripes we are healed


I just received word that Sondra's levels have gone down...We are still believing for a miracle...she is not spotting or cramping...which is confusing the DR.....I know God can preform a great miracle in her body....Keep Praying

1/23/09 I just received word...Sondra is not doing good today...But we serve an on time God...I know & Believe God is giving us a great testimony out of this trail...Keep her in your prayers

1/24/09 I am not givng the praise report I was praying for...But we serve an amazing God...Sondra lost the baby today....but her faith is higher than ever...God gave her a dream Wednesday showing her holding a baby...so during the process Saturday evening she was upset, but she kept telling the Devil this is not over, God has promised me a baby & I will have one...God is not slake concering his promises...So they are heart broken it did not happen they way they wanted but we serve an amazing God & it will happen

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise

Once again Gary has brought forth a message straight from God...He never disappoints...He always brings the word that God has given him...He never adds to it or takes away from it...God has truly gave him a greater anointing for the last day ministry...I would say the last 2 or 3 months have been blessed w/ a greater anointing of the Holy Ghost...Now I understand why...God has opened so many doors for 2009...We have the radio ministry...The Gabbards singing ministry...UpTowns renovations (Services have been so packed we have to get up to the main sanctuary fast)...Tent Revivals (which I can not wait for summer)...VBS...We have so much going on...But that is the only way to be..Busy for the Lord...In the last days that is our goal...to show people God's Love & help them make it to Heaven...Everyone needs a great leader...I believe there is none better than Gary Gabbard..he has truly been directed in the correct way... Brother Gabbard was the greatest example on how to follow the will of God...Gary is following in that same path...Listen,Follow & Obey the voice of God

I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR 2009....GET IN...DON'T MISS OUT!!!!

Matthew 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

The anointing was so strong in the morning service...God is getting ready to do amazing works

God is doing amazing things in the last day ministry I don't want to miss what is in store for his children. My Pastor told us what God has been laying on his heart for 2009...We are finishing up the renovations @ The UpTown Church in Cincinnati Ohio...We have the radio program on Mon-Fri @ 10:00 on WIOK 107.5... We have had that source of ministry for about 16 years....The Singing Group (The Gabbard's) will be traveling a lot this year....They just released a DVD....This is the best part Tent Revival...I have not been to one in a long time...We always have great services...God always moves in a great way...But there is just something about tent revivals...They are great...he is still working out dates & locations I will post any other info I find out...We are excited...After church we all started talking about the tent revivals we have been to...The newer church members are excited about their first tent revival...I can not stop saying it...TENT REVIVAL...TENT REVIVAL...I am so excited

I will say YES Lord YES to your will & to your way...I'll say YES Lord YES I will follow & obey when your spirit speaks to me w/ my whole heart I will agree that the answer will be YES LORD YES!!!

New Year Eve's Service

We had a great time worshipping together & receiving the word God had for us.

We started service @ 8:30, we ended around 1:00 maybe a little after.

Each preacher was able to get up & bring what God had given them.

Jr brought forth a great message, but what I love the most is listening to his testimony...in just a week he will be celebrating his miracle anniversary...God delivered him from a brain tumor...The DR. told him he would never be the same...But God brought forth a great miracle...he was released from the hospital earlier than expected...never had any physical therapy...God has given his family a great testimony

Rob D. always has a great word. God deals w/ him in a great way...each time he preaches you can see he is growing closer to God.

Todd K. preached his 2nd message....he just amazes me...he is so passionate about God...you can see it in his preaching & in song

Rob G..He also preached a great word...but he also gave an amazing testimony....he is a truck driver...the company he works for lost a huge account which would effect him & my brother...Rob took it to God & ask him to change the whole situation for him...They had a company meeting & the company decided to return..Praise the Lord..God can change anything when we take it to him & believe

Cathy S....She always amazes me...You can feel the power of God all over when she sings & preaches...She will make you laugh & cry @ the same time...God gave her an amazing testimony this year...She found a lump...she went to the DR & they did a few test....She took it to God..During one of her test her sister saw an angel w/ her...God delivered her...she never had to under go any surgery or any chemo..Praise the Lord!!!!!

Jamie S....His Sermon was on Get Your Own Prayer Life...it is a running joke w/ him & his wife (Cathy)....he heard her praying & singing one afternoon & when she came out of her prayer closet he told her it sounded good....She looked @ him & said get your own pray life (joking)....So Jamie told us to stop depending on someone else to pray for you...Get Your Own Prayer Life...It is OK to stand together in prayer but don't stand back & let everyone do all the hard work for you...Get in the battle

Gary G (Pastor)...He told his testimony...I never get tired of hearing this...When he was 17 his father pulled all the Gabbard boys into his bedroom & prayed over them...God had told him the Devil was out to harm one of his sons...a few weeks later Gary was playing in a pond...he was on an intertube because he did not know how to swim...he fell off...when he went under he was stuck in the mud & unable to come up..the more he struggled the deeper he went in the mud...They looked for him for 15 to 20 minutes...when they found him he was black & blue...the owner of the farm worked on him...knowing there was nothing he could do...but wanted to tell the family he tried...@ this time Brother Gabbard was on the way to church to prepare for the evening service....God told him Gary was in trouble...not knowing what had happen or where to look...Brother Gabbard finally found a phone & called home...Sister Gabbard told him what had happen & they all started praying...@ this time I think they had 11 kids maybe all 12 kids were born...she sent all of them to their rooms to pray...Brother Gabbard went back to his car..he drove around trying to find the farm...@ this time the owner of the farm was still working on Gary....Brother Gabbard began to call on God...He began to cry out to God...He is the only person I have heard of to pray like this....He told God he has done everything he has asked of him...He then told God...If there is something you asked me to do & I have not tell me...he said there was silence...He then asked for his son back...he ask for God to return Gary...the owner had quit working on Gary...he had walked away to help the others that were there....then all of a sudden he heard Gary cough...God had returned him...There is so much to this testimony I wish Gary would write a book...no one can tell this testimony like him or his father. But I will tell you...it has been 34 years later & Gary is alive & working for God.

Charlotte is the most powerful preacher I know...her first sermon was when she was 15...they says she is still preaching w/ the same power....
She told us to go home & read Revelation Chapters 4 & 5...God is getting ready to do a greater work...ARE YOU READY?
