Solider in the Army of the Lord

We had an amazing weekend.... We celebrated a great anniversary this weekend.... Charlotte has been preaching under a great anointing for 48 years.

She preached Saturday night @ UpTown Church.... Are you a Solider in the Army of the Lord?

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

It was an amazing night.... The church was packed.... They had to pull out extra seats & people were still seating on the steps in the back of the church.... It was one of those night you had to sit so close you prayed the person next to you showered. (just joking) But it was a tight fit.... You had to shout w/ caution.... We are still in the followship hall while they are renovating the sanctuary.... Can not wait until we move up stairs.... It will be a great service.

Sunday morning my Pastor preached a great message that really helped me.... Praise him no matter what.

Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. 3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Psalm 63:4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. 5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips

Psalm 118:1O Give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

At the end of the service he started singing...This is the day...This is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice & be glad in it
Then he went in to Victory Victory Shall Be Mine
I have been singing those songs ever since...I also added...I've got a feeling everything is going to be alright

Praise will bring you through any trial...His praise will continually be upon my lips

Sunday night Charlotte preached another anointed sermon....Are you lined up w/ God?

With all 3 sermons this weekend you really look @ your salvation. It something you do not take lightly. We have to reevaluate our walk w/ God everyday. We need to make sure we are lined up w/ his will. Not ours. We are nothing w/out God.

So I ask you.......Are you a solider in the Army of the Lord?
