I love to hear Preachers preach against sin. So many today are just preaching feel good messages. They are up there thinking I can't preach against adultery that one will get offended & I will lose that offering. I can't preach against smoking. I might lose that one. If God is in the sermon. It will be a blessing. They may leave the church that day upset. But God will deal w/ them. They will came back weeping & asking for prayer. Wanting great deliverance. When the sermon comes from God there is no wrong.
I heard 4 different sermons this weekend. All touched on sin. I went home thanking God there are still people out there that care about our souls. They don't care about filling up seats or how much the offering was. They care that I am on the right road. When they follow the will of God every need will be met.
That is the main reason why I love my church so much. Even when I was on the wrong road. They made sure they helped me back on the right path. God has blessed me with such anointed preachers. I know when the word is brought forth I know it is from God.
We need to pray that we are involved in the right ministry. There are wolves in sheep's clothing out there to destroy our souls. Pray & ask God where he wants you. He will lead you there.
Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
