End Time Message

We had an excellent Christmas service...Who would have thought of an end time message @ Christmas...But God always knows what he is doing

Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Daniel 4:3 How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

There were many visitors & many that have just not been there in awhile...all received a great word from God...The music was anointed..the word was anointed...it was a great morning service

Sunday night we received an early New Years Eve message...God showed Charlotte that there were some really fat people in the spirit (not the good fatness)

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

God has great things in store for his people this coming year...We have to be ready to receive everything...Don't be left behind in this great move

I can honestly say my Pastor is truly anointed. The sermons he brings forth are straight from the throne room of God.

When you go to a concert w/ a backstage pass you have all access...So w/ God Do you have a backstage pass?

With God's backstage pass you have access to..Salvation...Healing...Blessings...Joy...Peace...everything you need...He will supply...Just call on his name believing & it will be yours.

If you don't have the backstage pass...ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins & it is yours...Live you life for him & all things are possible.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

Last night's service was very uplifting...This time a year is very hard for some people...I know it is very hard for me....I have been separated from my husband now for 2 years & to see all my friends celebrating this time of year w/ their spouse's is very hard...But I know I am not alone I have to Holy Ghost to comfort me through the trail...Sunday night Charlotte called me to the front of the church & told me I was not alone...I was not in this battle alone...She was w/ me as well as the body of Christ....God told me he was bringing me great victory in 2009 & I would not even remember the pain I have been through in 2008...It was a great touch...I have been holding onto that...when I go out & see couples walking around holding hands laughing w/ each other I just put my hand in a fist & say thank you Lord for holding my hand...you have never left me....He has been in the valley w/ me...he has never left me when the waves were up over my head...He has walked w/ me every step of the way.

Cathy preached last night...Watch around you...You may be entertaining Angels...She told a story about a time she went shopping w/ her Father (Brother Gabbard)...He was the greatest man of God I know...He always listened & followed the voice of God...they were in a suit store picking out a suit...Brother Gabbard was getting older & had not preached in many years...his children were continuing the work God had started many years ago....I don't know if he was getting ready to preach a sermon or what I can not remember that detail of the story...but he found this green suit...green was his favorite color....It was a little more than he wanted to spend...Cathy kept trying to get him to buy it but he just was not sure...she said this elderly man heard them & started quoting scriptures & telling Brother Gabbard why he should buy that suit...(was that an angel Cathy was not sure)..Brother Gabbard never wore that suit...he preached a few sermons here & there...when God gave him something he brought it to the body of Christ....but he never wore that suit..Cathy always wondered why he never wore that suit...Brother Gabbard past away a few years later....When they were preparing his funeral Cathy knew exactly what to bury him in...He wore that green suit...She believes God sent that man (maybe an angel) to help Brother Gabbard to decide on that suit for his homecoming w/ Jesus...She said a lady @ the funeral had never meet him only seen pics of him...she told Cathy he is so handsome..not was...is...how many people dead are handsome...Brother Gabbard did not look dead..he looked blessed...he had heard the words...well done in the perfect suit for the greatest occasion. Heaven

IF

It has been crazy in my house...We had that terrible virus go through our house so I missed 3 services...I hate it when I miss...But my babies were not well enough to leave the house.

I was not able to make it to the Thursday service...I was so upset...We had a new preacher...Todd has been going to our church for about 15 or 16 years...he has pretty much always sang...he is a great singer...he uses his gift very well...They taped the service so I was able to listen to the great word God had given him...Here is a little piece of the great word given...The world is go busy running here & there...they are so tired from all the projects & appointments they have...As Christians we should be sold out to God's work...we should be saying I have added in extra reading, extra praying, extra work @ the church & my spirit man is energized w/ the Holy Ghost moving...He sang I've been running for Jesus a long long time & I am not tired yet....I love to hear him sing...he does such a great job...now he can add another job for the Lord

This past Sunday was a great service is was all about IF...IF you believe...IF you have faith...IF you stand on the word of God

It is all up to us...God wants to bless us...he wants to heal us...he wants to give us everything to help us through this life but we have to move...we have to have faith...we have to show him we love him & want to work for him....It is not a give & take life...we have to give & he will give unto us

I tried to look up on www.askjeeves.com how many times the word IF is in the KJV...well he does not know...But the word FAITH is in there 231 times

If anyone knows how many times the word IF is in the bible let me know.

We had an amazing weekend.... We celebrated a great anniversary this weekend.... Charlotte has been preaching under a great anointing for 48 years.

She preached Saturday night @ UpTown Church.... Are you a Solider in the Army of the Lord?

It was an amazing night.... The church was packed.... They had to pull out extra seats & people were still seating on the steps in the back of the church.... It was one of those night you had to sit so close you prayed the person next to you showered. (just joking) But it was a tight fit.... You had to shout w/ caution.... We are still in the followship hall while they are renovating the sanctuary.... Can not wait until we move up stairs.... It will be a great service.

Sunday morning my Pastor preached a great message that really helped me.... Praise him no matter what.

Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. 3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Praise will bring you through any trial...His praise will continually be upon my lips

Sunday night Charlotte preached another anointed sermon....Are you lined up w/ God?

With all 3 sermons this weekend you really look @ your salvation. It something you do not take lightly. We have to reevaluate our walk w/ God everyday. We need to make sure we are lined up w/ his will. Not ours. We are nothing w/out God.

So I ask you.......Are you a solider in the Army of the Lord?

Begin Again

The past few months have been very hard....I know the Devil is out to steal, kill & destroy...I have felt like giving up many times.... But I am not giving up & I am not turning around....God has promised me great victory...I feel like the Devil is just holding me still ....It's time for healing... it is time to move on...My life feels like chaos, but God is bringing peace & joy...I need to move on...I am putting the Devil under my feet today & I am going to run on & see what the end will be

I have had a really tough week, I am so thankful we have an amazing God. He never leaves us or forsakes us in our time of need. He sticks closer than a brother.

Psalm 9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. 10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. 11 Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

I attend 3 services this weekend. All filled w/ great Holy Ghost anointed preaching. Each service spoke great encouragement to me. But Sunday Night I was totally set free from the depression the Devil was trying to put on me. I could feel it lift. I love the church I attend. No one laid hands on me. It was just the anointed preaching that set me free. There is nothing wrong w/ laying on of hands. I believe in it totally.

1 Timothy 4:13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
14Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

It is awesome to see someone just standing there praising & believing then all of a sudden let out a shout of praise. A shout of victory!!!

I had to leave early. I was upset that I was not able to stay & give God the glory he deserved for lifting the depression.

As was driving down the road singing & praising God for the deliverance I felt, all of a sudden both hands went up in the air & I started speaking in tongues. You don't have to be in a church to give God all the Glory! You can praise him anywhere.

When I arrived for the appointment all I could do was laugh @ the Devil. It was great just to laugh in his face. I know the person I had to meet is not a Devil. But he is listening to the lies of the Devil. I know God can deliver him. He just needs to give up & let God take over. I know God is dealing w/ him. We all have prayed. He just needs to listen to the voice of God.

Psalm 5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. 12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Healer

We serve an amazing God. He knows what we need & how to deliver it.

Thing have not been going the way I expected for them to go. I have been praying about this situation in my life. It is all going in a different direction than I expected it to go. I went to church broken & feeling defeated. No one there new what was going on or how I felt. I put on a happy face for my family & everyone else around me.
Jamie got up to preach & it was really hard to pay attention. I kept thing about what happened the day before. Then I heard him say..... God puts his arms around us to protect us from the storm. The winds my be blowing hard, you may feel like you are about ready to break. But God has you protected. He will bring you out.

I know the Devil threw all this @ me right when God told me he was giving me a new beginning. This may not be the new beginning I was expecting, but God knows what he is doing & he will being me through.

I was all alone last night. I was really able to pray w/ no distractions. As I was praying I just started singing Healer. God is not just a healer of diseases. He can bring healing to any situation in your life.

The following lines are great when you are in the middle of a battle.....

Jesus you are all I need. You are more than enough for me. Nothing is impossible for you.

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Broken

Have you ever just looked @ your life & wondered why? We are not to ask God...When am I getting my miracle...How am I receiving my blessing...Why have I not received my healing...Where is it Lord?

We are just to stand on the word of God & believe ... I am thankful that I have been taught how to rebuke the Devil... to stand in his face & tell him he is a liar & the father of it..What ever comes out of his mouth is a lie...He can not tell the truth...it is not in him...I have been taught on how to stand on the word of God...I am more than a conquer in Christ Jesus...I have the power...It is not given just to the pastor or the prophet...It is given to who ever takes it & uses it

Even though the Devil keeps telling me he won the battle I have to get back up & tell him it is not over until God says it is over....The battle may look like the Devil has the upper hand...But God can not lie...He can not fail....If we stand on his word & faint not victory will come

God's word tells us...

Psalm 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

I know God has heard my prayers...He has seen the sacrifices I have made unto him....Even though I feel like my natural man is defeated ...I've got the Holy Ghost...It is moving inside...Like a wheel in the middle of a wheel....I am standing on the word of God...I will sing VICTORY IS MINE

More of the Holy Ghost

Once again an amazing weekend. The power of God is greater in each service.

Sunday nights service was powerful. Charlotte called everyone to the front that did not have the Holy Ghost, anyone who was having problems breaking through or if you just wanted more. Everyone was up there. You can never have enough. There is always more. So I was up there. I was really receiving more. It was great. I knew one of my kids was standing beside me. I leaned down & told her to Praise the Lord. I started to Praise the Lord, then I felt someone kinda of nudge me over. I looked down & Charlotte was praying Amber through to the Holy Ghost. It was so exciting. She is 8 years old. You are never to young or to old to receive The Holy Ghost.

When you receive the Holy Ghost it is one of the greatest gifts from God. You need to speak in that heavenly language everyday. Demons tremble when they hear it. They run in fear.

When you receive do not let anybody ever tell you that it is not real, we don't need it now days, or oh you did not receive it. Look @ the Devil & tell him he is a lair & the father of it. Put him under your feet. Bruise his head. It is for the young & the old. It is for everyone.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

Can't Nobody Do Me Like Jesus. He gave me the Holy Ghost & told me to run on. Praise the Lord!!!!

They Call Good Evil & Evil Good

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

All I hear @ work is Obama is bringing change. Yeah he is bringing change. But not the change we want. (well maybe, that means the one who died for me will be returning soon...very soon! Praise the Lord!!! Hallelujah!!!!) I can not believe that there are Christians falling for this. Have they read the Bible? Are they receiving anointed preaching? But then I remember the word tells us...

Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before.

This is a sad time to see christian following something that is not of God. It is sad to know they must not be receiving anointed preaching, they are not encouraged to read, pray & fast. We need to have a daily relationship w/ Christ. We are living in a day were sin is everywhere. We have to check ourselves daily to make sure we are on the straight & narrow.

Not About Us

I just purchased the new CD from Joni Lamb & The Daystar Singers...Begin Again. I love the song Begin Again. Sunday night Charlotte preached a great message about new beginnings. It was a great message. Then I get this CD the next day in the mail. It was cool. Some of the words are....

You can begin again...You can believe..You can be healed...You can be set free again..For God is here he will make away....The best is yet to come for me

I really love the words to the song. The best is yet to come for me. I know I am walking in a newness w/ God & I am loving it.

My kids really love the song Not About Us. I am so glad they love this song. It gave me the opportunity to tell them it is all about JESUS. The world is so focused on themselves. What can I do for myself today. How will this benefit me. I was able to tell them everything you do & say should be for the glory of God. When you put God first he will take care of you.

Greater Anointing

Had another AMAZING weekend. Every service was filled w/ the presence of God. God is moving in a greater way. I am so excited to see what God has in store everyday. God is opening up doors everyday for us tell of his amazing love. I can see it on my job. People are asking for prayer, & just asking about God. I can not wait to see what God is going to do in their lives. I believe they all will be saved. God's word tells us:

1 Corinthians 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase

It does not matter if you have planted or watered. Give God the praise for what he is doing.

Our Sunday night service was great. The power fell in a mighty way. Jump in God is pouring out a greater anointing. He is really showing his power upon this earth.
I can not wait to see the lame walk, the blind see, the deaf hear, & the dead raised. I believe I am going to see all of this. I love to hear of the great miracles God has done. But I want to see them. I believe I will.

Jump in! Don't be left behind.

Come Up Higher!

We serve a great God.
This past weekend I heard 4 different messages all touching on the same thing. SIN. Getting the sin out of your life so you can have a greater walk w/ God. Last night sermons was just the next step. Cathy Saunders preached a great message. Come up higher! Through the entire message the Devil kept trying to get me to focus on things going on in my life. Then I heard her say. Stop thinking about you problems. Go up higher! I was like that is me! Devil I rebuke you in the name of Jesus! I am going up higher! Every since then I have not thought about my problems. I have felt the spirit of the Lord. What is funny is nobody knew this. Nobody knew what I was praying for. I received a text message from my sister-in-law. I never receive text messages from her. It said..Have a beautiful & amazing day basking in his presence. It took me back for a second. I read it a couple of times. I was like did that just say what I thought it said. I am @ work so I told the girl sitting next to me I was taking an early break. I went & found some privacy & just Praised the Lord. Did not ask for anything. Just thanked him for his wonderful move. Thanked him for how good he has been. It was a great 15 minute break.

God is doing great things in our ministry. I don't want to miss it. In our Saturday evening service God told that he would lay hands on someones eyes & they would be opened, He would lay hands on someone in a wheelchair & they would get up & walk. I don't want to miss it. I want to see their face when God preforms a great miracle in their life. I want to hear them tell their testimony. I can not wait. I feel like a little kid the night before Christmas.

We need to pray for a greater move of God. But to receive that we do have to examine our walk daily. We need to make sure we are moving in his will. The Devil is out to steal, kill & destroy.
Make sure you never miss a church service. You could miss a great miracle. You could miss your miracle. Walk everyday in his will. He could use you to pray for someone when you are about your day. God is doing a greater work in the last days. Get ready to be a willing vessel.

Evaluate Your Walk

I love to hear Preachers preach against sin. So many today are just preaching feel good messages. They are up there thinking I can't preach against adultery that one will get offended & I will lose that offering. I can't preach against smoking. I might lose that one. If God is in the sermon. It will be a blessing. They may leave the church that day upset. But God will deal w/ them. They will came back weeping & asking for prayer. Wanting great deliverance. When the sermon comes from God there is no wrong.

I heard 4 different sermons this weekend. All touched on sin. I went home thanking God there are still people out there that care about our souls. They don't care about filling up seats or how much the offering was. They care that I am on the right road. When they follow the will of God every need will be met.

That is the main reason why I love my church so much. Even when I was on the wrong road. They made sure they helped me back on the right path. God has blessed me with such anointed preachers. I know when the word is brought forth I know it is from God.

We need to pray that we are involved in the right ministry. There are wolves in sheep's clothing out there to destroy our souls. Pray & ask God where he wants you. He will lead you there.

Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Friday Night Miracle Service

I went to see my brother & sister-in-law sing last night @ Community Family Church. Their group is called Momentum Praise & Worship Team. They are from Solid Rock South. They did an amazing job. Rev Bill Campbell was also preaching. He has written the book The Amazing Faith That Works. That might be where I have picked up the word amazing. I have read the book 3 times.

I wish I had a video. They did a great job. You could really feel the presence of the Lord. Rev Campbell preached a great word from

Mark 6:1 And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him. 2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? 3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. 4 But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. 5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. 6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

I do not want to be found w/ unbelief I want God to find me w/ Amazing Faith. Faith that can move mountains.

He ended the sermon w/ this scripture:
Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

It was a great night.

Have amazing faith so you can run through a troop & leap over a wall.

Not just a Mid-Week Service

If you have ever said I will just stay home & relax it is just the mid-week service. Well then you are missing a great word from God.

If you miss a mid-week service @ The Gabbard Tabernacle you are missing a great word from God. Rob Diesman preached an amazing sermon last night. I know I use the word amazing a lot. But God has just been shocking me w/ his presence, & the word he is bringing forth.

What really jumped out @ me was...in whatever state I am, therewith be content. People know days are so demanding. We are always running. Trying to get the next best thing. I have really been trying to teach my children. God will supply all of your needs. We don't have to have all the new gadgets. We just need to make sure we have God moving in our lives. When we have that we have everything.

My sister Candi sang last night. My sister-in-law Sondra & our friend Felicia backed her up. They sang I've got a reason to Praise the Lord. As soon as Rob Gabbard's fingers hit those keys & Daniel started playing the drums you could feel the spirit of God. She did an amazing job. I am very proud of her. They all did a great job.

Ministry Appreciation Month

I noticed the other day it is Ministry Appreciation Month. We need to make sure we give honor where honor is due.

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

I have the most amazing Pastor. He has never wavered in his faith. He has always done what God has told him to do. I am sure it has not always been a piece of cake. But he never backed down to the Devil. He has always stood on the word of God. Because of that our ministry is very blessed & anointed today.

I just want to say I am very proud of Pastor Gary Gabbard. I am proud to be apart of The Gabbard Family Ministry.

Love how God started this ministry, Love where he has brought us to, Can not wait to see where he will take us.

Perilous Times Shall Come.

2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 .For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3.Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4.Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5.Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

My Pastor (Gary Gabbard) preached an amazing sermon Sunday morning. Yes perilous times are upon us. But look up. God shall supply all of our needs.

Just like he supplied Elijah's needs he will supply our needs. Whatever Elijah needed it was supplied. (1 Kings 17). God will bring his children through this time. Just wait upon the Lord. Put your trust in him.

People around will be asking why are you so calm, why do you have such peace. Because I have placed my hand in the hand of the one who calmed the water. Place your hand in the hand of the one who called the sea. He will bring you through the storm.

Therefore Endure Hardness

We gathered together & had another amazing service. Rob Gabbard preached an amazing message.
II Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

This was an amazing sermon. It lifted my faith so much. We have to praise God @ all times. We have to start our day like a solider. We are in a battle everyday w/ the Devil. He is out to destroy our souls. We have to let him know we are soldiers in the army of the Lord. No matter what comes our way we will fight w/ great praise & worship.

He also preached @ Uptown on Wednesday evening. He gave us a little summary of that sermon. Does the Devil Know Your Name? Does he know you as Sally Sue. He can just smile @ you & your falling apart or does he know you as a Child of the King. He is telling his demons that one is going to be a battle we may never break them but we have to try. They start everyday w/ great praise. They make sure they are on the straight & narrow. God has a wall of protection around them but we have to find a way in. He brings everything your way but you still stand on the Word of God. You praise him in the storm & praise in on the mountain. We all need to make sure the Devil knows our name. A child of the King...I am the head & not the tail.... I am a lender & not a borrower... I am covered in the precious blood of the Lamb.....I am healthy not sick....I am blessed not poor....I am protected & not forsaken...I am a child of the King. Make sure everyday he knows your name. Blood bought, spirit filled & on my way to Heaven.

At the end of his sermon he had us sing a song Brother Gabbard wrote many years ago. You could fill the spirit though the entire service. But when we begin to sing. He's Gonna Make Way. The spirit being to fall in a great way. You could feel the attack of the Devil just leave. Here are a few of the words....He made a path through the water away through the sea. I'm depending on you Lord to make away for me. When my heart sinks w/in me by faith I believe. Troubled waters rolling backwards as he makes away for me.

We have to stand by faith everyday. What ever you are going through God will make away where there seems to be no way out. Stand, Pray, Fast, & Read. God will make a way.

Brother Gabbard has gone on to be w/ the Lord. But while on earth he was a great man of God. He has done many things for God, one of them was a great song writer. You can tell his songs came straight from Heaven.

So make sure you endure hardness & when you endure hardness the Devil will know your true name. Child of the King

Living in the Last Days

Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

We are difently living in the last days. God's word says he will pour out a greater anointing upon the world. We are seeing that happen in our ministry. Every service is a greater move of God.

We need to have greater faith in the last days. The word also tells us:

Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

We need to make sure we are in God's perfect will for our lives. We do not know the day Jesus will return, but by looking @ the signs it is soon.

I am so glad for the anoited preaching I receive. It streagthens my faith in God everyday.

I have also been reading a book called The Amazing Faith That Works. People have given me books before to read. I was so lost reading them. I would pray & ask God what are they were trying to say. What are they trying to get across. But this book just flat out tells us we need to have a greater faith in God. We need to place all our cares upon him for he careth for us.
He also adds some of the great things God has done in his life because he trusted in God. This is a great resource. Reading this along w/ your bible, & having your soul feed w/ anoited preaching will boost your faith.

My Pastor preached a great message a few weeks ago. We need to have Walk on Water Faith.

1I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
2And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
4Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Keith Gabbard preached an amazing message on this scripture. He preached this on 10/4/08 & it is still speaking to me. No matter what the Devil tells me or brings my way I have to hold on the vision God has shown me. It will all come to pass in God's appointed time. I just have to hold on.

Never give up on what God has given you or told you. He can not lie, as long as you do your part it shall come to pass.

I was also just reading over the Sunday School lesson from 10/5/08. This just jumped out @ me today.
"God is working behind the scenes to accomplish HIS purpose. Don't get discouraged when things seem to be going against us, because GOD is in charge. He has FULL control over our lives!!!"

We serve an amazing God. He knows what we need to hear & how to deliver it.
